3D visualization is a
combination of technical as well as artistic skills and is used for
demonstrating products i.e. product rendering that is yet to
be launched, at conferences and during presentations. The technique is also
used frequently by industries, right from the food industry to high-end tech
companies. Some common examples where you can witness 3D visualization in
action are cutting-edge advertisements, videos, real-estate, scientific

A 3D model is actually a mathematical representation of any design, which is converted into its life-like format by 3D visualization. When done with precision, the visualization comes very close to being an actual product image. There is a plethora of software available to facilitate 3D visualization, for creating astounding images. 3D visualization is a multi-step procedure that includes a detailed creation object in view in the three-dimensional plane, i.e. not only the width and breadth (x- and y-plane) are taken into account, the depth (z-plane) is factored in as well. Once the 3D model gets a go-ahead, a graphic designer places the model in the scene where it needs to be imaged. The right textures and lights are added. The camera positions and angles are determined. The effects are adjusted to edge it closer to a real image. 3D rendering is the last and most critical step of 3D visualization. The 2D images generated from the model are actually the way the product looks when imaged. With the use of 3D rendering software, the environmental scene is controlled to make the image more life-like.
